Keeping your dog cool in hot Summer weather and humidity is vital! Dehydration and Heat exhaustion are a real danger. Sorter walks, plenty of water and shade are critical, but you may want to take it a step further for your dog to fully enjoy life during hot Summer days. There are a few places where this dog cooling mat has been especially useful for Jessie.
🐾 We have a screened in porch in the backyard, where we love to have our coffee and tea in the morning, and gather with family after dinner in the evenings. We live in Florida, so although it's cooler those times of the day it's still pretty hot and humid in Summer.
Jessie loves to be part of everything, so she always wants to be out there with us. Having the cooling mat is really helpful. It keeps her from getting overheated and she Loves it! It's soft and cushy, and she loves stretching out on it. I like that it has a slip proof backing so it won't slide around.

🐾 Inside the house, Jessie likes to lay in the sun puddle at our front window. In the morning it can get really hot there, the sun comes in strong through that window. I used to keep her away from the window on hot days, but now I can put the cooling mat there and feel confident that she won't get too hot sitting in her favorite sun puddle.
🐾 I like taking Jessie to the beach but I'm so wary of the heat being too much for her. When I do take her I always look for some shade or create shade with a towel or sheet. I put her in the shade and place the cooling mat down for her. That way she can enjoy the beach with me and not get too hot. She loves to enjoy a chew stick on her cool mat in the shade while she people watches!
Jessie will be taking some road trips with us this Summer, and you can be sure we'll be taking her Rywell cooling mat along on our trips. It folds up nicely and isn't bulky. I could even use it in the car when the sun is blazing in through the car windows.
