Aren't they funny!? I love the second one about being stupid BOL! He was such an American icon, so beloved by everyone. The man didn't mince words, that's for sure! Thanks for stopping by today Jenna!
Thanks Mark! It's a Saguro cactus, which only grows in the Sonoran desert. It takes upwards of 75 years to grow a single arm (branch) and can grow 40+ feet tall! They bloom beautifully too. Thanks for stopping by!
A husky in the desert! And she fits right in. Yup, she could sure as shootin' be cowboy. Cowgirl. Cowdog? --Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats
She loves the desert, her fur must protect her from the heat to some degree because she often likes to bask in the hot sun, although not for very long. She's my furry Cowgirl! Thanks for stopping by Susan!
Thanks, I think she plays the part pretty well, too! That second quote cracks me up - it's from a book called The Quotable John Wayne: The Grit and Wisdom of An American Icon, by Carol Lea Mueller. Thanks for stopping by Janet!
